Welcome to SPEE-D-METALS!
We're a Mid Level Steel Service Center. We
provide materials not only to Large Companies but also Small
Job Shops, Home Shop Machinists, Universities and Home
do-it-yourselfers. We can customize your material by saw
cutting to size, grinding, milling, and turning. Our
knowledgeable Sales Staff will do their best to provide you with
material that is ready to enter your machining process as
quickly as possible. |

Our founder Leonard Dannemiller saw a need for a metals Distributor who could provide customers with just what they needed.
He created the "buy only what you need concept" which revolutionized the metal distribution industry. This concept allowed our customers to streamline their job routing sheets.
SPEE-D-METALS could provide blanks that were not only custom size but, ground to a tolerance, turned to a specification or rough milled. The
do-it-yourselfer was now able to do more himself because he could buy his material that was exactly what he needed not just close to what he needed.

SPEE-D-METALS was established in 1977 in a small 1,111 square foot rental unit. Customer loyalty and word of mouth has allowed the company to grow every year since those early days. We are currently housed in a
30,000 square foot building with over 10,000 items
on our floor. We carry various grade of Carbon, Alloy, Stainless Steels, Aluminum, Brass, Tool Steels, along with Structural Items and Plate. Please contact us and let us help you today.
